I was selected to brand the 49th Annual Connecticut Art Directors Club awards show, an honor given to individuals who receive a top award the year prior. I embraced all things retro computer and a feeling every designer knows all too well … burn out. A core part of the brand was a glitchy 8-bit font I designed and lovingly named Error 404. Alongside the font, I created a set of pixelated illustrations, animations, a slew of social posts and a couple of really fun pieces of collateral, including sticker sheets, Microsoft Paint-inspired sketch cards, and a 1 of 1 poster that went home with one lucky winner. The only way I could think to capture the evening was a two pack of disposable cameras. Eternally grateful to have had this opportunity and to be able to connect with incredible CT designers at this event year after year.
