Miner’s Lounge, a craft cocktail bar located in the heart of Gold Rush territory — Angels Camp, California. Development for this project occurred in a two-week sprint where I was tasked to push this brand as far as I could in a short amount of time.

The brand features a classic Western feel while paying homage to the local lore and history of the region. With little to no spots offering craft cocktails, Miner’s Lounge strikes gold with its approachable, come one, come all environment that welcomes tourists and locals inside its doors.

The client asked specifically for a gritty miner with a gold tooth, but I couldn’t help myself from adding a cheeky traditional tattoo-inspired drinking frog inspired by Mark Twain’s short story, The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County. The frog becomes a motif throughout the branding, adding a cheeky and playful element to the branding.
